I know its been posted on here multiple times but as a Newbie I just wanted to let other noobs know that hot water with the homemade rink rake works so much better than cold. I had to make the extra effort to get access to hot water and let me tell you, there is such a huge difference in the results. If you can get it, use it!

Permalink Reply by brianjay5g on January 18, 2012 at 7:12pm I've been leaving the hose outside, so I don't have to bring it in. Draining it after each use is a must. Check out my page/history for the sketch of how to connect it.
Permalink Reply by David Niles on January 18, 2012 at 7:20pm We have a devoted garbage can for the hose, coiling it up into the can isnt that bad and keeps all the water/mess inside, we then simply take the can to the basement each time and its warm and ready to use again without being stiff. ( probably about 100 feet )
