Hot Water

Anyone experimented with heating up cold water to resurface with?  I tried hooking up to my hot water heater and resurfacing that way, but by the time water goes through 150' of hose (laying in the snow) it's cooled way down.  I was thinking of using propane heat, a coil of copper tubing (3/8 or 1/2") and heating up the water as it leaves the tank that's mounted on my four wheeler. Just some crazy ideas......See More

"may have to look into "white water".  I wonder if something like baking soda or some sort of powder could be added to a tank of water to turn it white.  Interesting stuff."

My First Rink

Well, excavation started a few days ago on my rink.  40 tree stumps and 3 hours of bobcat work later,  I now have a nice level spot tucked into my woods.  Haven't got the contractors bill yet....really don't want to.  Pic's coming soon.
