Blogs versus Forum Discussions

In order to make it easy for our members to group and find information and topics that are posted on the site, we have two separate sections (tools) where we can post information or create discussions. 

Please take this in consideration when creating either a Blog or Forum Discussion:

Blogs are mainly designed for a single user input. Posting or the content is the main purpose, and not the commenting. Blog posts should be personal accounts, news, reflection, events, announcements and information.

Forum Discussions should be created for discussion between several members. We should create a discussion on a particular topic where we would like commenting, replies, advice, feedback and/or accumulating of group input for the posted topic.

Example:

1. If you would like to announce some news, please post them in the Blog section.  This announcement was a Blog!

2. If you would like to ask for advice on how to flood our rink? or how to build rink boards?, please create a Forum Discussion
