First timer here, looking for some ideas on what to do with the liner at the ends of my rink. I'm going to use 4 foot high boards on the ends but don't want the liner going all the way over the boards. My side boards are going to be 16" high. Should I just attach it to the end Boards part of the way up or do a shorter dasher board first and then put higher boards behind??? Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

I would just put the boards behind. That inch and a half hasn't been an issue for me but i'm only on year 2 myself.

I use 1X 1/2 boards to hold the liner on the end then cut off neat

Real I would just run it up an over the board  and tack in place

Once the ice is in, put down some 6-inch white kick plates  and cut the liner along the top

Hi, what type of 6" kick plates would you use? I am looking into yellow cove base but its hard to find.  Any ideas?
