  • Yeah, my kickplate is painted 1/4" G1S plywood.  I guess that there is more than 1 way to skin a cat when it comes to the round corners.  I cut the 30 degrees sections that make up the 90 degree top and bottom rail from 1/2" plywood and build them up in three layers.

  • The rink is 24'x 38'

  • The kickplate is just 1/4" plywood painted yellow and put up after the liner is filled and I have established my water line.

  • Todd, I was on youtube and found a guy that did the corners in 18" sections it took 4-18"x 4' sections then the transititon from 4' to 2'. In all it was 5-18degree wedges driven into the joints to give me 90 degrees. I will get some pics of the backs but all it is are 2x4's boxed with 1/2" plywood.  Mark yes I do add a liner I just drape it over the walls and fill, once it freezes I have 6" kicker boards painted yellow that I attach and then trim the liner.

  • How did you make your corners?  Got any pics of them?

  • Do you add a liner?  If so, how are you placing it, do you have a notch that it gets tucked into on the bottom, what?
