  • I finally had to suck it up and commit to buying a fresh liner every year too.   Lost a few weeks of skating time last year due to patches/repairs that I didn't know I needed until it was too late.   Definitely going to buy a cheap(er) liner and replace annually from here on out.   Good luck getting the leak repaired and the rink back in action, we've all been there- so a lot of people around here feel your pain ;-)

  • Thanks.  It's covered in about 2" of snow now and plus have been battling a leak in my high corner which is thinning out my ice.  Re-flooded to gain volume but looks like not gonna work out too great.  That is the problem with re-using a liner, I go for every 2 years...after this year will buy a fresh one yearly now....lots of work but lots of fun for the kids...

  • Beautiful pic!   Could use some of that sunshine out my way.   Plenty cold, but just enough clouds/flurries to make me clean off the rink every single morning before lacing up the skates, lol.
